FAQ
- How do I record a voice memo?
- Open Record from the tab bar or a Quick Record widget. Live transcript may appear while you speak when speech recognition is available. Review title, tags, and action items before you save. Recordings stay on your device.
- Do I need Premium to capture notes?
- No. Free includes capture within note and voice limits, text search, and a sample of Ask My Notes. Premium unlocks unlimited memos, semantic search, full Insights, decisions from your memos, Smart Folders, richer export, and optional Continuity — shown in-app before purchase.
- How does Continuity work?
- Premium users can opt in to private iCloud Continuity in Settings. It uses your Apple ID’s CloudKit private database — not a MemoVana login. Turn on Continuity on each device and give uploads time on Wi‑Fi.
- Restore purchases or my vault?
- Profile → Premium → Restore purchases for subscription status. Continuity restore is separate — restoring purchases alone does not copy memos from iCloud until Continuity is enabled and sync completes.
- Does MemoVana join my video calls?
- No. Meeting Brief uses your calendar and your own notes for prep. Capture is from your iPhone microphone or Apple Watch only.
- Android?
- Not on Google Play yet. iPhone is available on the App Store.
