Some older app builds may still link to memovana.com for terms until updated. These Terms apply to MemoVana.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the MemoVana mobile apps and the memovana.com website (the “Services”). “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of memovana.com. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Purchases on iPhone are also governed by Apple’s terms and App Store rules.

1. What MemoVana is

MemoVana is a personal productivity app for voice notes: capture on iPhone or Apple Watch, on-device transcription, folders and search, decision register, action inbox, Meeting Brief calendar prep, Insights, widgets, and optional Ask over your memos. The app is for everyday work and personal follow-ups. It is not medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice, and it does not diagnose, treat, or substitute for a professional.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction (or have a parent or guardian’s consent where required). You are responsible for the content you record and any device, export, or iCloud security you choose.

3. License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the apps (as distributed through the App Store ) and this website. You agree not to misuse the Services, attempt unauthorized access, record others without permission where law requires consent, or use the app in ways that violate others’ rights or applicable law.

4. Your content

You retain rights to memos and recordings you create. Processing on your device is limited to operating the app, generating summaries or Ask answers you request, and optional Continuity sync you enable. We do not claim ownership of your note text or audio.

5. AI-generated output

Summaries, tags, action items, Ask answers, and similar features may contain mistakes or omit context. Review important decisions yourself. Transcripts, summaries, and patterns may be wrong — do not rely on them as sole records for regulated or high-stakes decisions.

6. Premium subscriptions

Optional MemoVana Premium is an auto-renewable subscription billed through Apple (product IDs com.memovana.premium.monthly and com.memovana.premium.yearly). Plans, prices, trial eligibility, and renewal terms are shown in the app and in App Store checkout before you confirm. Cancel in iOS Settings → Subscriptions. Restore purchases is available in-app after reinstall. Introductory free trials on the annual plan, when offered, are subject to Apple’s eligibility rules.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, PERFECT TRANSCRIPTION, OR THAT AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR MEMOVANA PREMIUM IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50).

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
